Colourful and easy to use, the Rondine Clio fin is designed with ultra-soft anatomical foot pocket which makes it the ideal fin for rental of all abilities, including children.
The blade makes each kick powerful and stable.
• By utilizing various materials’ stif fness and innovative structural arrangements, SUMi was designed to produce propulsion efficiency. The end result is a pair of fins which is not only easy to kick with, but excellent momemtum is created to in the process to quickly propel the diver forward.
• The fin’s foot poc ket fitting i s the result of our extended research and manufacturing experience. This is an often neglected criterion when divers choose their fins. We are confident that SUMi will be one of the most comfortable fins that people put on. • On top of the fin blade there are 6 water channelling guides to direct large amount of water backwards and the 22º blade-to-foot angle provides the best kicking efficiency. Cressi’s latest addition to its extensive line of world renowned fins is the Frog Plus open heel scuba diving fin. The Frog Plus features many of the great characteristics of a traditional paddle fin along with introducing a revolutionary new blade material that is both extremely durable and nearly indestructible. The Frog Plus utilizes Cressi’s patented three material injection molding process. The three materials consist of a nice comfortable rubber on the foot pocket that extends up the side rails of the blade. The second material is the revolutionary new dual density techno polymer which forms the blade, and in conjunction with the third silicone based material creates a channeling effect. The channeling effect is the characteristic of the fin that enables a high level of energy to be transferred in both up and down strokes of the kick pattern. The Frog Plus also incorporates Cressi’s patented positioning of the foot pocket below the blade. This design increases the working surface area of the blade by 20%. The combination of the channeling effect and the foot pocket mounted beneath the blade creates a very powerful and efficient fin with minimal leg strain. Because of these characteristics, the Frog Plus fin is an ideal choice for the entry level to advanced diver.
The first fin in the world made by combining three different materials, a process that Cressi perfected and patented with this fin, which guarantees unsurpassable performance.
The blade is made from a special, incredibly reactive polypropylene, which is at the same time extremely light, and progressively charges up during the stride to take off like a spring at the exact moment the stride is inverted.
A soft elastomer anatomically wraps around the foot, blocking it with a comfortable bite, which guarantees perfect transmission of the leg-fin thrust.
A suitably solid copolymer hardens some critical zones of the foot, and is extended along the sides in two lateral stringers, which go halfway along the blade.
The function of these stringers, assisted by special raised bands on the bottom of the blade, is to regulate and harmonise the bending, at the same time protecting it from shocks and abrasions.
The fins are extraordinarily light compared to equivalent models of rubber footed fins and reduces the inertial masses to the minimum, to the full advantage of the effort-efficiency ratio.
This fin is designed for deep skin-diving, although some Scuba professionals and instructors appreciate it a great deal.
New product 2012
An interchangeable blade which is very lightweight and reactive and also well-adapted for the most demanding of free-diving use. Thanks to its specifi c and exclusive design, it’s more propulsive when passing through the leg-kick, which gives an optimum return of the blade. The foot-pocket is very comfortable and comes in a composite material : soft rubber around the foot arch, and a rigid part along the sides and traction surface. It’s ample fi ttings easily allows it to be worn with diving socks.
This is a futuristic fin, deriving from the Cressi deep sea skin-diving models, which introduces the use of more reactive materials also in the full foot fin sector of normal length.
In fact, the blade is not made from copolymer but from exceptionally light and reactive polypropylene.
This material is combined with a comfortable thermo-rubber (elastomer), used for the foot, for the side stringers and for various inserts.
The blade originates from the upper part of the foot pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared to a traditional fin of the same length.
The side stringers extend for a good way along the blade, continuing in a protective seal around the whole edge of the blade.
Two stabilising flaps on the end of the blade, on the sole of the foot, guarantee excellent direction of the fin during kicking.
The excellent, highly anatomic, computer-designed foot, guarantees optimum transmission of leg-fin thrust.
The resulting cocktail is a formidable product that makes kicking easier and powerful at the same time.
Pro Star, together with Reaction Pro model, is the most powerful full-foot fin in the Cressi range, except for models specifically designed for deep-sea skin diving and is an excellent choice for snorkelling, skin-diving and Scuba dives.
Reaction takes up many of the innovative features already introduced in Rondine A: the blade that emerges right along the side of the footing, the differentiated thickness of the blade, the frames made from two materials, the sole made completely from a non-slip material, the very comfortable computer-designed housing of the foot and the innovative buckles to prevent accidental unbuckling.
To all these excellent features, Reaction adds a new, longer, more flexible and lighter blade that provides excellent thrust with minimum muscle fatigue and the smallest expenditure of energy.
The result is the perfect fin for modern divers, beginners or professionals; light, easy to use, not very tiring, but fins that can also provide excellent thrust, which makes it possible to safely deal with even the most critical underwater diving situations.
Closed-foot version of the Reaction fins, the buckle-up version has met with full approval from divers.
The frame is moulded in three different materials, according to the Cressi patented system that guarantees surprisingly smooth and powerful kicking.
The blade is rather long, and has a differentiated thickness - thicker at the front end of the foot, it gets progressively thinner towards the end of the blade.
The wide-soled foot is very comfortable and outstandingly enveloping thanks to the extensive use of elastomers.
The soles are completely covered in thermo-rubber to give them an excellent grip on boat decks.
These fins have been designed not just for swimming and free-diving, but also for scuba diving, where they will surprise you with their fantastic performance.
